I have a newish channel, received two warnings from youtube on two different videos. One more of these and I'll get my first "strike". Three strikes and my channel is terminated.

The reason they claim "dangerous/harmful/scams/deceptive"

There was nothing deceptive in the video, I suspect it was something else but they denied my appeal without explanation.

Does anyone have connections with someone who either worked for Youtube and can explain this kind of decision? Or maybe a long time youtuber with lots of experience?

I'm willing to adjust my videos to comply but don't know what they're asking for.

This shit just kinda happens with tech platforms and ad accounts in general. I suspect due to maliciously motivated reporting.
My wife threw a marketing meet up many years back.
Facebook retroactively (not google I know) decided something about cock tails and talking about seo was somehow racist.
She ignored their appeal system / didnt care. Then they decided since there was no response meant she was an automatically guilty hater forever no appeals and totally banned from all business platform stuff.
Now any advertising account she touches gets suspended and support refuses to help and just demands various forms of identification only to do nothing.

@zelch, I’ve seen people talk about this from URLs in the description, or even ones shown in the thumbnail and video (obviously not clickable). Any links you’ve used? They crawl them and what’s on the other end can get you in trouble. People have linked out to sources of info and they have “murder” in the text on one of the pages, and that’s harmful!

I didn't link out in my video, but I did mention a couple youtubers that may have gotten me in trouble. I mentioned one guy in my video just in passing... and when I go to his channel its terminated. Maybe that got me? I hate how in the dark I am with this. I'd gladly comply if they would just throw me a bone!

TikTok, I pay a guy that used to work as a content rater... I send my TikToks to him and he tells me how he would have flagged it. would love to find someone like that for Yt

got another warning yesterday, which is equally concerning and confusing. first of all, not supposed to get 3 warnings, just 2 then a strike. second of all, the warning literally has nothing to do with what is in the video.

Is this another warning on the same video as the first one you mentioned or in a separate video? What was the warning concerning this time?

Is it a possibility you have a competitor or nutcase hater reporting your videos? My understanding is sometimes the system will act on reports with the assumption they're true, rather than going ahead and having a human look at it at first. It's worked this way on a lot of social media sites, unfortunately allowing it to be weaponized.

this new warning is on a totally separate video.
it is possible we have a competitor but this space isn't really like that... maybe a nutcase hater though.
we're just so in the dark
