So only organic rankings AT THE MOMENT, will be effected by this update. It really changes nothing for me but I figure if some of you are getting traffic from other components of Google like Google News, Videos, map packs, or Adwords you might be wondering if you will hit you.

That is my understand, that they serve different "personalized" results based on a lot of things, one of them being the user-agent (tablet, mobile) and other data like screen resolution.
