New to this forum and wanted to provide a little introduction...
I've been in an out of the affiliate marketing game for about 5 years and have never really hit success. I place the blame fully on myself due to spending too much time researching and not enough time doing. Also, I enjoy spinning up new projects and getting sites running and dialed in, but seem to jump to new projects when it comes to doing things I don't enjoy as much like writing content and finding traffic.

I'm coming off a 1 year break and have decided to pickup a project I abandoned about a year ago. Prior to abandoning the project, I had spoken with someone well respected who gave me some great ideas and a few kicks in the ass.

After recently re-installing the site on a new host (finally off Hostgator shared and on a VPS - yay!) I can appreciate his advice and what I had created. I feel I was about 90% of the way there and just needed to finalize some sales funnels, which I will be completing this week.

Once I get the blessing from the mods to post outside of the Orientation Room, I'm planning on starting a journal for this project to track progress. I'm excited to pick this back up and have already began compiling my list of potential traffic sources.

Also, just wanted to mention that I've been lurking the forums for a week or so and it's refreshing to see experienced marketers willing to help people out, as well as newbies who are asking good, descriptive questions and not just the "how to i make the monies?" Hoping to be a productive part of that...

Thanks,
-MisterD

Hey welcome! Im looking forward to following your journal. I heard that having a site aged can help a lot

Hey, welcome back to the game! I agree, the discussion at BuSo is refreshing.

Are you planning on going back to affiliate marketing or trying something new?
