Payoneer?

I had been using the Payoneer master card for some years now although that was for freelance payments. I recently started amazon and yet to set up my account there. I'll probably also check out the Borderless account now since I already have an account with them.
 
@ordobey @nigeb @secretsauce I'm thinking about switching from being paid by cheque as Amazon affiliate to Transferwise too. What's your experience so far? Any problems?

That would really help me decide between Payoneer (which I find a little iffy in terms of support etc.) and Transferwise (had good support calls already, but don't know if it works).

Hi Yawei. I haven't regretted using TW. Commissions hit my bank account the same day Amazon send payment.

When I calculated my end of year finances, Borderless were around %3.5 better in my pocket (no %1 fee to receive funds, no Mastercard ATM international withdrawal fee, better exchange rate etc).

Also If you decide to flip one of your sites, it works with most of the popular Escrow systems too.

As you can see from this thread, some members prefer Payoneer, others like Borderless. At the end of the day it's your money, try them out and see how you go.
 
@yawei Switched from payoneer to transfer wise after I got fed up with payoneer's less than helpful support . Money arrives in my account the same day. So far it worked like charm.

Plus they are very clear about their fees and exchange rate. You can even set up a notification, when the exchange rate reaches a certain threshold to profit from fluctuations.

The caveat: you can only transfer it to a bank account, there is no credit card. If it is not in the same currency, there is a small extra charge for the transfer (depending on currency).
 
Never had any issues with Payoneer, although I only ever use it to transfer direct to my bank account, never the credit card option.
 
Anyone in the UK, can you please confirm how much it costs to transfer money to your bank account from TW...on their site it says 0.85% fee..is there any additional fees to get amazon payment to your UK bank

My UK bank charges me £25 per cheque..just want to weigh benefits..
 
@senty4love the cost to convert USD to GBP in TW borderless is 0.85% of the total amount being converted.
I convert from my USD borderless to GBP borderless
Then from my GBP borderless to my GBP bank account with a flat 50p fee for that transfer.

Natwest charges my a flat £7 fee on banking international cheques plus whatever rate they do the exchange at. £25 fee is extortionate.

So it almost same cost..if $5000 Amazon payment..TW will charge $40 plus little bit better rate...my bank charge £12 for cheque less than £2000 I think.. anything above it will cost £25..
 
Speaking about Payoneer, their relatively new escrow service escrow.payoneer.com is killing now the dinosaurus competitors in the domaining industry. Very low rates and flawless transitions.
