Polarizing Content

Mate this is wild!! thank you!! Its taken me 4 days to digest this. In the middle of it I did happen to read your "Art of Commenting" post. its make so make sense, the amount of value your giving back.

Have you ever gotten yourself into a niche where you don't know as much as the pros? if so did you approach traffic leaking differently?

2-3 months later that article will be a faded memory on the internet - no one will even notice it was all about making money but the ORM specialist will still be new SW customers.
I totally understand this was an example but how would you frame title this for ORM specialist to find this?

Now if I don't want to directly associate my brand with that piece I can use graphs or charts within a content piece to do the funneling of targeted traffic.
THIS!!! This really helped me understand help to use polarizing content

Entertain. I tend to always add a gif or something (99.99% it's a female gif for a reason)
always wondered how long you taken you on your gif selection, they always hit the right emotion!

Report on the latest news and topics within your niche to start building authority. You can even do journals or youtube videos to showcase how you approach an industry as a newbie. Some "follow along" scenario will allow experts to come in and help you, comment, or correct your approach. AKA Networking...

I don't. It's an indirect way to make people. It's using FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) - there is some tool that the ORM guys have never heard of but is being talked about in passing. That's the breadcrumb effect, which leads them to go do their own research by Googling and looking for more details on this tool. When they find it, since they did the research, they'll feel more connected to the brand, versus stuffing it down their throats. That's why it's a trick fuck.

I do it all the time here, I say stuff in passing, and people then go research what's that one obscure thing I mention. I didn't say it accidentally, I literally want them to do their own research so they think THEY came to a certain conclusion.

I've mentioned certain brands on this forum in passing, then weeks later someone else mentions that they use this new brand they found without realizing or remembering how they arrived at that brand.

I have a very good memory of gifs in my brain and a repository. Also Tenor is pretty good for searching for gifs (they've got a mobile App).
