Prefix Filtering

Most forum "Buy/Sell/Trade" areas separate their threads into several different sub-forums and across many paginated pages, making it slower and harder to quickly consume and find what you need while reducing visibility for sellers. This is worse for users and vendors.

Today, we've rolled out prefix filtering in the Marketplace only. You'll find one of seven categories assigned to each thread: Content, Software, Design, Links, Marketing, Development, or Consulting.

Each of these can be clicked, which will refresh the page so you only see the relevant threads. To quickly remove this filter, all you need to do is click the name of the prefix at the top of the thread listings. An example of both prefixes and removing the filter can be seen here:

This should reduce friction for buyers and reduce the perceived need to bump threads as a seller.

We have developed a method to increase the number of threads shown so nobody is moved to a "page 2." Between this and prefix filtering, the usefulness of the BuSo Marketplace should increase drastically.

Cool change, do we need them in the latest post list though? Some posts having them and the majority not is triggering my OCD
